July 2001 Minutes
The meeting was called to order 7:30 PM by the President, Mark N3GNW.
There were 2 guests present. It was on motion to accept the minutes of
the
June meeting, as published in the July Feedback.
Vice President Report: Tony announced the upcoming programs and events
August - Comcast
September - Air Show
October - Ghost Hunting
November - ARRL Night
December - Holiday Dinner
The Treasurer reported that the Club is solvent and that changes are
in
process for the new Treasurer
Secretary read a letter from the American Legion thanking the club for
it's
communications assistance in the Warminster Memorial Day Parade
Other Committee Reports.
Membership - Rocky reported 135 members
Repeater - Scheduler has been updated for the next 6 months
Filter is being installed to prevent problems with
Broadcast Station. New antenna has been obtained
capable of operation on 2-220-& 440.
Hugh announced next date for Adopt a Highway
will be Sunday August 12th.
Field Day - Stu announced just under 1000
contacts.
Grange Fair- Will operate a Special Event Station. Need participants.Friday/Saturday/Sunday.
Should be
in QST
No code classes start 10 Sept. for 11 Mondays
Old Business - Al working on QSL card with
printer.
New Business - Considering distribution of Feedback by e-mail for those
who would like to receive it in that manner.
